Grassington Festival Book Office Information

Tickets for our full Grassington Festival programme are available as follows: Star and Business Friends - 3 April / Friends - 5 April / General Sales - 9 April. Tickets will be on sale at our Box Office (01756 752691) and via our website tomorrow from 10am for Star & Business Friends, on Thursday for Friends and next Monday for general sales. The central concept of this year’s festival is A Sense of Belonging, emphasising the importance of place and community. Not only is the Festival set against the beautiful backdrop of the rugged Dales landscape, we have a vast array of exciting and inspirational events to boot. Family events are a core part of the festival fortnight; on the opening evening ThisEgg present Me & My Bee, a new family comedy with live music. And don’t miss Beneath Our Feet, a promenade performance of music and dance in the magical and unusual setting of Stump Cross Caverns. We won’t be short of a good laugh this June either, with Live at the Festival Hall compéred by Edd Hedges, featuring an array of breaking comedic talent, and in our Festival in the Field Marquee Jason Manford with his acclaimed stand-up tour Muddle Class. There’s plenty of opportunity to get really stuck in if workshops are your thing. Learn a new skill with dry stone walling master Ian Daggett, get creative with Helen Peyton’s Moth Magic printmaking session, or spend a day making cheese at The Courtyard Dairy with Andy Swinscoe. And with fantastic speakers such as BBC political correspondent Chris Mason, national treasure Sir Michael Parkinson, as well as amazing music with The Joe Stilgoe Trio, Yorkshire-favourites Smokie and super-group British Electric Foundation plus a stellar line-up of special guests, and The Fratellis, currently celebrating their top 5 album, there really is something for everyone.
