Yorkshire’s Food Capital, Malton, will celebrate the 10th annual Malton Food Lovers Festival on the 26th – 27th May 2018. Attracting tens of thousands of hungry visitors each year, the Festival is well regarded as one of the UK’s most prestigious food events. The Malton Food Lovers Festival has attracted some of the finest food talent in the country and will this year welcome an all-star line-up with three of Yorkshire’s born and bred Michelin Star guest chefs confirmed to attend. Set to satisfy Malton’s taste buds is Tommy Banks, winner of The Great British Menu 2016 & 2017 and owner of The Black Swan in Oldsted, named as the Best Fine Dining Restaurant in the World 2017 on Trip Advisor. Joining Tommy is Andrew Pern, head chef at the Michelin starred pub, The Star Inn at Harome, and James Mackenzie, owner and Michelin star chef at the Pipe & Glass Inn and founder of the Yorkshire Chef Certificate Award. Free to enter, Yorkshire’s most popular food town will showcase a sweeping selection of tasty stalls and street food vendors offering guests dishes from all four corners of the globe. Guests can also quench their thirst at the Festival Bar, run by local brewery, Brass Castle, Orchards of Husthwaite Cider and Yorkshire gin producer, Sloe Motion. There is something for food lovers of all ages at the Malton Food Lovers Festival 2018, with chef demonstrations and guest talks at the relocated outdoor main stage, a line-up of the brilliant local talent and a new indoor market; as well as children’s theatre workshops, a vintage fun fair and children’s zone!
