Grassington Festival Workshops

Community is at the heart of everything we do in the Festival and with workshops for all ages, we really do reach out to everyone in the Dale. We have a programme of free workshop sessions for you, ranging from creating stunning pieces of art, to playing in a band, singing and learning about music. There is something for everyone. Workshops include: *An Imaginary Cosmos, a communal installation that will provide a fantastic opportunity to learn about creating beautiful things from waste household plastic. *Samba Drumming Workshop; learn to samba drum and use Brazillian instruments and then use those drumming skills in the Procession on 17 June. *Make your own sea creature puppet to show off in The Opening Procession with artist Carine Brosse. *Join Hope and Social's 'A Band Anyone Can Join!' and learn to play a brass instrument culminating in a performance in the Square.
